Random NFC Notification?

Got this notification today. I believe it’s an NFC tag nearby (not an AirTag) ? Can anything harmful happen if I click the notification ?

That's from an AirTag. Your phone must have bumped into one since it needs to be really close for it to pick up the NFC signal. There's no harm in opening the link. It'll show information about the AirTag. If the AirTag is in lost mode, it may have a message and the owner's contact information.

I thought an AirTag had its own Apple branded notification?

Thanks ! I finally clicked on it and it seems to be one of mine ! What would cause my own AirTag to notify me like that ?

It does have its own notification if one is found to be moving with you. This one is for when you scan the built-in NFC tag to get more information about it. If you hold the top of your phone near an AirTag, it'll pop up.
