I have no idea what began this random icon showing up approximately hourly on my MacBook. Everything works, nothing weird other than it shows up and will pop multiple instances over the course of a workday under my windows. I've googled with reverse image search and that is less than helpful. Has anyone else encountered this? Maybe someone can point me in the right direction? I would expect this from a PC, but my apple? :(

That's the printer list. You may or may not have other software installed but no printer added associated with the software.

My guess is that it's a "feature" of one of the printers.
