iPhone Random robot sounding notification

My wifes iPhone randomly makes a random notification sound sometimes without actually receiving a notification. It sounds like a weird robot type sound. My iPad has also recently done the same thing. Any idea what this could be? Both devices have The most current iOS update.

First, go to Settings>Notifications and scroll down the list to see if there's any app that just has "Sounds" enabled.
