We have very old FileMaker server running on Mac OS 9.2. It was working great. Recently it started to shutdown randomly. Before investigate the hardware failures, is there any system log available to look out on Mac 9.2 systems?

Open Disk Utility (found in /Applications/Utilities) and run Verify Disk. If it shows any errors, boot from the OS9 install CD by holding down the C key, open Disk Utility and run Repair Disk. Does it report any errors? Does it fix the errors?
[doublepost=1482615715][/doublepost]You can also find some OS 9 trouble shooting guides here: http://www.oocities.org/texas_macman/MacTroubleshoot.html

But run Disk Utility first.
