random start up issue?

hi, I have a 2019 MacBook Air which has 2 accounts ( me being admin)

ive noticed now and again that when waking it up from sleep I only get the backlight coming on, not the normal sign in page.

ive not worked out if this is only happing when switching between accounts then coming back to the computer later on.

is it not going to sleep properly?
