Twice now under High Sierra I have found random files in my trash that I did not want to delete. The last time files were in a removable drive. When I would remove the drive the files were disappear from the trash, when I put the drive back the files were back in the trash. The files were both on the removable drive and in the trash. When I went to the trash and clicked on “put it back” it warned me that I would duplicate or replace the files on the removable drive. Very strange?
