Hi guys, I'm doing a project for uni and need to somehow obtain a sound file that is similar or is the sound that the iPhone makes when it locks. Does anyone know of anywhere I may find this?? struggling to even find anywhere you can download random sound clips from.

thanks in advance

If you have a jailbroken phone you could SSH into your phone and copy the file. Can't give you a specific location as I'm not able to SSH into my phone at the moment

Freesound Project has royalty free sound effects under a Creative Commons license: http://www.freesound.org/

Don't know if they will have the iPhone sound or something similar, but it is a place to start. If you want a quicker to high quality search results, there is also Sonomic, but those cost money, but worth it when you need it.

lucky I'm jailbroken!

I attached the file. its a .caf file, and I don't know how to convert it, but it plays in QuickTime.

hmm it does't show the attached file. I'll upload it later I gtg to dinner.

If it plays in Quicktime then download Audacity or some audio tool and record the sound in .mp3 of .wav form.
