Hi everyone!
I recently noticed that my left B&W MM-1 speaker is playing some low volume tones when they receive audio from my iMac (Late 2012). The tones disappear whenever I mute the speakers or close the program playing the sounds or music. If for instance i pause the movie playing the tones continue... (The tones are coming from the lower part of the left speaker.) This suddenly started a few days back.
I've used these about a year without any issues. I did try to connect them to my Macbook pro. The tones did not play when i used my macbook, so it seems the issue is somewhere between my iMac and the speakers. The iMac internal speakers does not play these sound.
The tones seems like some sort or random scale going up and down with some random jumps here and there.
I've tried updating the MM-1 firmware and restarting my iMac. I've also disconnected every cable and reconnected them. The tones are still there.
Have anyone else here experienced this with their speakers? And do you know how to fix this?
