If you don't mind wasting a few minutes of your life, please view it. Its a good giggle to see the ignorance of a Microcrap fanboy who generalizes that Macs are slow because Microcrap Word runs faster in Windoze than in OS X. I've been arguing with him for a while now, but I gave up trying to convince him that Macs are faster, and iWork is much better than Office.

Random Youtube Video Smashing Gamecubes

Just insert your favorite product here and it has been done. I sure as hell loved my Gamecube. Didn't you? :D

You can tell his crappy youtube video was made on Windows  even iMovie doesn't produce something as disgusting as that. Windows Movie Maker vs. iMovie, he just embarrassed himself.

Someone finally cleared it up for him. Many thanks to who ever posted those comments on youtube. I was right for trusting Apple, and will always be!!

I sorted out his iTunes=resource hog claim. I had no idea WMP used up more resources.

Who wastes their time and actually cares enough making this?

It takes me 4 seconds to open microsoft word 2004 which I believe is running through rosetta.

The problem is that Office 2008 is a PIG. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo. Not the latest and greatest, but only a few generations behind. 2 gigs of RAM, Leopard 10.5.6. I just timed Word and it takes 9.5 seconds to start up and show me a blank document, and a few seconds longer before you can actually type into it without being bogged down by a laggy cursor.

Thankfully, subsequent starts of Word are quicker -- 2-3 seconds.

I am very tempted to uninstall 2008 and go back to 2004 under Rosetta!
