The title basically explains it. I have a new iPhone 4, and since this morning it's randomly been coming out of sleep mode. I turned off notifications thinking it was a bugged app, but it kept happening.

When you say sleep ? Does it unlock itself?

It's in standby and randomly just comes out of standby. It doesn't bother me that much, it's just that it wasted my battery pretty badly today.

edit: It seems that for a split second a message shows up, I'm almost positive it looks like a "this accessory is not optimized for this iPhone.." and that's what is making it turn on. What should I do?

..bump, brought it to Verizon, sales rep said he's never seen anything like this and that I would have better luck at the Apple store nearby. Hopefully swinging by today or tomorrow.
