I have a issue with my new MacBook Pro m1 that I have connected with Display Port to usb c to DisplayPort adapter.
Sometime it looses the connection to the screen it seem to happen randomly.
To fix it I just disconnect the cable or turn the screen off and on again. I'm not sure if it's the display or not. I had it at 170hz same issue and also 144hz the resolution is 1440p.
I have tried in clamshell mode and with open display.
When it happens The MacBook Pro Screen still show like it's still using the external display it has not "jumped" back to singel display.
