iPod touch Randomly plays music

Hello, everytime i leave my new ipod, it will start playing music sometime inbetween my leave and return. Last night it started playing around 11 and drained some battery over night. Why is it randomly playing?

I have a similar problem. When I turn my ipod on sometimes it will start playing where I last left off. Only, music was definitely paused when I turned it off.

Thats never happened to me but that seems pretty awesome. lol
I see where it could be a problem tho. Do you turn it off? As in Hold Down Power-"Slide To Power Off" or do you just lock/sleep it?

I just sleep lock it. This ipod was actually a replacement for an older ipod that died. If I completely turn it off nothing will happen. And what do ya know, last night it happened again. Drained the entire battery.
