Just venting.
Had a pretty simple, low time investment Black Friday plan.
Target--smooth and easy. Apple Gift Card e-mailed, $15 credited to Target account, Watch SE bought. Total time: 10 minutes.
Apple--total $^!T show! Redeem Apple Gift card (easy). Shows up in the "Apple Balance." Then, buy Airtags using gift card + credit card for the tax, using Apple Store app. Credit card gets charged full amount instead. Multiple calls/texts/e-mails. On top of it, no e-mail received with Apple Gift Card for BF sales event. Multiple phone calls/texts again--they say my gift card was used for the order but no one knows why I was charged the full amount. Total time: 2.5 hours! While I'm supposedly getting credited back to my CC the full amount (in 3-5 days), who knows at this point. Still waiting on the $25 gift card...
This is the first time I've ever done the Apple Sales Event for BF. Are they always this disorganized and buggy on Black Friday? Target had it all together yet I suspect I'll be calling Apple again tomorrow.

- Use Target deal to get $15 in Target Cash for buying $100 Apple Gift Card.
- Apply $15 Target Cash on top of Target's Apple Watch SE $219 BF deal.
- Use $100 Gift card for Airtags, get $25 Apple Card. Use that $25 for accessories too at some point.
