So what do you guys think about the new Raptor POWER9 machines? I'm most impressed by how open source the system is from the motherboard firmware out. I also think it's cool how the next generation will be able to support DDR4 and GDDR5 / DDR5 etc etc with new memory handling that makes integration easier without killing performance.
With all the Talk of apple switching architectures again makes a guy wonder but, pretty sure it will be to ARM but, many some POWER Mac workstations could really open up the taps for custom computing.
