Hi All:

I am new to the forum and I have been beating my head against a brick wall. I find a series of information on how to burn .rar files on a windows platform but not on a mac. I have a few movie files that a friend sent me in rar format opened them using stuff it but how do I burn them to a dvd and view them on a dvd? I have toast 8.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Download unrarX from versiontracker.com. That'll be a start.

Have unrar

UnrarX recompiles the small rar files back into the original movie file. Isn't that the first step in what he wants to do?

Hi Gee:

I have unrar downloaded just the other day much better than winrar. I wasn't sure how to convert rar files to movie dvd that is my problem someone suggested I use a rar converter and just google for one. I did google but all I came up with was software to make rar files not how to convert to dvd.

By any chance have you ever heard of a program called winzix? Thanks for your help I am still getting used to being in a forum not sure if I am clicking the right buttons for replies :)
