I want to get an iphone 3g but I was told about some hidden fee's. Is it true that in addition to the $30 a month I have to pay fees for web use and every text message I send and receive. If this is true how much will those extra fee's cost me a month? And if I already have unlimited text messages will that feature stay when I upgrade my account to the data plan necessary for the iphone 3g?

There are no fees for web use. There is no TXT/SMS included in the 3G Plan, so each one you will have to pay for (I think it is $0.20 per message). Then there are Taxes and Federal Fees.

Unlimited Text is $20 extra.

All this is in addition to whatever I pay a month for service already right?

If you are already having service, then $30 more for the 3G iPhone data plan (which includes UNLIMITED web use). Text messaging is 0.20 cents each or 200 for $5/mo. Of course, you can email instead for free.
