Hi there.
My trustworthy little macbook has accompanied me through a good deal: nearly all of college, live shows, Djing. Unfortunately, as with all things that bring me joy, I have recently gotten my heart broken. My mac began to develop an interesting quirk in which the screen would have a blue tint/distortion in the form of horizontal lines when positioned at certain angles. Now, my computer has fully converted to this bizarre colour change, along with odd (still blue) pixelated distortion around the "drop shadows" of my open windows and an array red pixels that mar the image of any movie or video I watch.
This laptop is outside of warranty/applecare, so I'm soliciting some repair from a trusted source, although I'd like to do it armed with some sort of information. Has anyone had this happen before or know what the hell I'm talking about?
***For clarification, before anyone says anything, this is a different problem than the fault in the macbook pros, at least from what I gather. No preferences fiddling and color calibration will make a difference, so far.****
