I recently purchased this nice Firewire-to-SCSI converter but while I was able to download here and there the Utilities for OS9 and OSX I was missing the SIM driver to see the attached FW devices on virtual SCSI bus under OS9. Without too much hope I wrote to Ratoc support and after a couple of days a very nice guy from Japan (Mr. Koji Otani) was so kind to attach to his reply the needed driver. However he clearly states that he does not offer international support and therefore the archive was entirely in Japanese language! More or less blindly through a series of unreadable requesters I was able to install the System Extension on OS9 and it worked more or less as expected but so far I have troubles with my CanoScan FS2710 film scanner.
This japanese archive is attached to this post but I would love to have the english version, I think I could find in the documentation something useful to solve my issues with the scanner: may someone kindly dig in their archive and post here? Many thanks in advance!
