There are several parts that could make the sound, most likely candidates being the buttons, and the rear camera optics.
The best solution to get rid of the noise is to not tap the phone against anything.
This is ridiculous. None of the Android and Windows phones make this type of rattle.

It's the protruding camera lens, that's it. You must be a real genius to compare it to devices which don't have such a protruding lens and saying "why don't they do it". Basic physics, common sense, ..? Human stupidity??

Your reply......is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.
Of course you say that, no one should ever doubt that you deserve just as much media coverage as #bendgate. Just so you can say "I'm so fame haha #rattlegate"
If not, and I stress if not, you would not have chosen "Rattlegate" as a title but rather something like "iPhone 6 not laying flat down".
