I sunk RAW photos from my Canon 60D to the new iPad with the camera connection kit directly from the camera. When they first showed up on the iPad - it correctly showed the 'RAW+jpg' icon on the 'Last Import' photo menu. But now that I have also sunk pics from my point and shoot, my iPhone, and from another computer - the iPad will not show me the location of the RAW pictures.

When I plugged the iPad into my Macbook Pro 15" laptop - it sunk the pictures, but turned the RAW files into 8 times lower quality jpegs!! There was no option I checked off that said sync at a lower quality or anything.

Anyone have this experience?

Yes - all pictures synced from your PC/Mac will be compressed on the iPad. I don't think there is any way to turn off that "feature", but I'm not sure.
