Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro Doesn't work during boot, then works fine

This the relatively new wireless Razer keyboard and it works great (outside of lighting effects not being support by Razer-MacOS YET), but most importantly you can't boot the computer with the dongle attached. No idea why.

I tried on two Big Sur laptops my 2019 MBP and a 2020 MBA. Both had the same issue.

Any ideas?

Anyone else ever have a wireless keyboard that when the receiver is plugged in at boot, you can't use the keyboard correctly? Some keys seem to work and some do not. With the receiver plugged in I cannot get to startup manager as an example as that key does not function. If I unplug the receiver it works fine on another keyboard.
