I have a razer copperhead mouse that I am trying to get to work on my macbook pro. I know razer officially says no os x support, but I have found through google that some people have gotten it to work with Steermouse. (http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/)

I installed Steermouse and it does not detect the copperhead (which os x thinks is a keyboard). Google does not provide any help, so I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the Steermouse application or razer products in OS X.

Thanks!

I have a new iMac and I just got a copperhead mouse. Steermouse worked fine for me. I played around with it for a little while before all the buttons did what they were supposed to do, but the buttons on the right side change dpi and the other 5 were customizable. Try it again - maybe it'll work this time?

I just got an even better idea!!!!!

Plug the mouse into a pc and download the drivers and set all your settings (custom buttons, profiles etc.) and apply it and save the settings - then plug it in your mac. The onboard memory remembers the settings and it will work perfectly on mac just the way you programmed it to on PC. How weird, but it works!!!!!!!
