Razer Megalodon: is it worth it, will it work?

I'm planning on purchasing this Razer Megalodon headset. I have done plenty of research and believe these are the right pair for me.

I do have a few questions although. I understand this is a USB headset, my question however is if they are compatible with Macs? I have read a few reviews that say they do not work. I understand the Audio would most definitely work but I am unsure if the Microphone works.

Also for anyone who might have one, could you give me your opinions on it? Preferably the quality of the sound and microphone.
