Buyer beware, even though the description claims it's a hybrid I emailed to confirm and this
was the responses I got.

"It's Aluminum / Zinc. *The aluminum / delrin is essentially plastic. *It looks and feels cheap. *Ours is a mix of aluminum, zinc and is anodized. *All this gives it that solid metal feel without the major problems that the Aluminum only bumpers had. *If you are not satisfied, you can return it for your money bac. *Just make sure to keep the box and alle pieces it comes with such as the button and extra screws."

Wow, that sucks.

Any evidence to suggest alum/zinc is any better for reception?

Might as well just get one of the HK ones from ebay for $20.

Doesn't work with docks

I just received two of these today- the solid zinc/aluminum ones. expensive.
Fit is pretty good- just the slightest amount of play- almost imperceptible.
The finish is awesome and they are very rigid. Look great- well engineered.

HOWEVER- these don't work with ANY docks. I tried several different brands- apple, ihome, altec, etc- too deep on the bottom. For me, that's a deal killer and these are going back.
