hey guys,

i was wondering if i could use my razr v3 from my mac via bluetooth

thanks in advance :)

By "use" do you mean have your Mac use the phone as a modem? It is possible with Verizon, and it may be possible with other carriers as well.

Try searching on "tethering" on the thread for your wireless carrier at Howard Forums. Those guys are hip to all that stuff: http://www.howardforums.com/

thanks man

but i was thinking in using the mac to talk like it was your cellphone,
like the bluetooth headset

Are you wanting to use a bluetooth headset to make phone calls over the Internet? This would not involve your cell phone. Or, are you asking about something else?

If you want to make phone calls over the Internet, you could likely use your bluetooth headset with an application like Skype.

Please provide more information...

If the phone is thru verizon forget it cause they cripple it. There might be hacks but you would need go to howard forums. Plus and sound transfer your phone would need to support AD2P bluetooth profile

I read this as he wants to pair his phone to his mac, and use the built in mic/speakers on his mac to talk over the phone with, as though he were doing an audio chat in iChat, but using his phone instead.

If I got that correct, I believe the answer is no.
