Is anybody else out there using Rdio and frustrated that the MAS app unnecessarily uses the discrete graphics card (rMBP)? Total battery killer.

I've written their support and received the following back - but this was months ago:

Thanks for writing in. This isn’t something we’ve been working on recently, but I will re-open a task with our engineering team to start looking into it again.

Either way, I encourage anyone who does use Rdio to drop them a note to request this be fixed, especially with Mavericks' focus on battery life.
