Hi there,

First up, let me say I'm a VERY new Mac user and have recently purchased the new MacBook Air. Would appreciate any help anyone can give me with troubleshooting this problem I have.

Background:
- I have MS Office 2011 installed and use the RDP to connect to work.
- To connect the RDP, I usually get internet connection via my Wireless router at home or my office. I then connect to the office VPN, followed by RDP and it works like a charm.
- I also use this connection to download my office email through MS Outlook for Mac.

Problem:
- When I don't have an internet connection via a Wireless router, I use a HSPA USB Modem - Seirra Wireless (Telstra Elite 306 USB).
- Once I establish internet connection, I can connect to the VPN.
- Even if my VPN is connected, I am unable to get the RDP to connect and get the message that the MAC is unable to find the computer the RDP is looking for.
- Similarly, MS Outlook is unable to connect on my Mac to get my office emails.

So, there seems to be something missing with the connection between the USB modem settings and the VPN. What do you guys think? Anyone know how to address this problem?

Thanks in advance!
