Hey!
After a (clean - i.e. first wiping the hard drive) reïnstall of Mountain Lion, I still see the safari tabs I had on before the reïnstall. They show up on my MacBook (under my iPhone tabs) and on my iPhone (above the tabs that are actually open on my MacBook) as a seperate device, meaning they think there are two MacBooks with the exact same name. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds as if you are using iCloud to save those tabs, etc. So go into System Preferences->iCloud pane and uncheck the Safari box. Leave it like that for about an hour then repeat the process in the iCloud pane and re-check the Safari box. See if this helps, Good Luck.

I can say from personal experience, even if you do nothing, the tabs showing up will go away in less than a day. I had this problem when I reinstalled iOS on my devices -- the tabs were showing up on my Mac for a while.
