I'm getting the 42mm, as it will support all of my existing straps.

Also, bigger watches look a bit silly on my small wrists.

How about you?

In Germany we can collect bonus points via public health insurance. We collect them by going to the dentist, engaging in exercise, medical checkups and so on. Got my series 6 for free via that. My collected points are only good up to three (four) years so I need to get one for free again now this time. 🤣

I feel zero need to update from my six, it dos everything I need, battery runtime is only a problem on long bike rides and that can be fixed with a key chain Apple Watch power bank at like 10-25€ to be used in breaks on the way. It’s quiet impressive actually for a watch that should go on its 1500 powercycle soonish, but than again Apple also still updates it.

This also sort of is why I did not upgrade last year. I think the only reason would be if they change the sensors again (wich I think are still the same than the six has?) or software lock something more significant than the finger pinch. 🤏🏻

Also have a 6. Would like the slightly larger screen on the 10, but my understanding is that the blood oxygen sensor has been disabled due to a patent issue. Until that gets sorted, I’ll stick with my 6.

i ordered the 42mm coming from a 44mm se. i'll try it out and see how it feels

I'm actually tempted to switch to the larger size, if the new shape lets it sit more comfortably on my wrist, like the Ultra did. I tried both sizes when the original watch came out, and found that the larger size was simply too uncomfortable for me to wear. But when the Ultra came out, to my surprise, it was comfortable enough to wear despite its large case size. So if whatever Apple did with the Ultra somehow carries over to the S10, and I can wear it comfortably, then my eyes could certainly use a bigger screen.

I'm going 46mm because it will be compatible with all the bands I have.

If it's too big I'll return and get a 42mm and just start a new band collection.

That's why I'm going with the 42mm: To enable me to use my existing straps.

Also, I only have small wrists.

Going from a 41 series 8 in stainless steel to a 42 series 10 in silver aluminum. I really wanted to size up, but 45 already looked pretty big on me - I think 46 would just be over the top. I’m excited to go back to aluminum for the lighter weight, but as of now I’m planning to keep my ss also. That may change if I don’t use it much.

Here is a question, I am going to travel to North Carolina to be there for a month. I want to Buy an Apple Watch Hermès Series 10 (along with an iPad M4 1 Terabyte). I want to buy it with Apple Care with it. (or can I buy Apple Care in Japan when I arrive back home In Japan) I will be returning to Japan, will the Apple Care purchased in the USA be useable for service in Japan? Thank you, Much thanks,

I got the 46mm just to try out and if I don’t like it I’ll return to Apple and get 42mm.
