I have been going through the garage today and found my old iBook 800mhz 40gb HD! and my first PC for my 10th b'day a Time 1.5 Ghz with 512mb ram! 2 fairly decent machines! But I know have some better superior devices and would like to sell them both! Is there an application or command I can do to erase all the information on the MAC and PC? and leave just the operating system?

Thanks!!!

P.s any idea at what price I should offer them?

Thanks

Time 1.5Ghz probably £50-£100 (if that as it is a time  ), iBook probably £300 or so...

On the iBook reinstall the OS and run a 7 pass erase.

Thanks! I assume you mean the original 4 software restor cds that come with the iBook

Any idea on how to wipe the time?

I've used THIS to wipe drives. Very easy to use. Read the instructions carefully though.

I have decided to give it to my sister as its not really worth selling and its a fairly decent machine! but the iBook is going to go up for sale!
