Re-install a program from TM?

I deleted my PS6 program by mistake.. How can I reinstall it using a back up app from TM or can I?
I tried copying and pasting it did not work

CS needs more than just the .app file. Copy over the .app file as well as your Library and you might have more luck

I just tried that and I either goofed or it doesn't work
