Hi there,

My MacBook contain BootCamp with Mac OSX and Linux, however, the Mac OSX doesn't work on last week, fortunately, I still have Mac OSX DVD disk, so how to install it to override existing Mac OSX partition, I saw some solution from Internet, but I am not sure it works or not:

1 Press c key and power on the MacBook (boot from DVD drive)
2 Insert Mac OSX Disk on MacBook DVD drive
3 Choose Macintosh Disk and then override it.

That's it!

Should I reinstall BootCamp and the Linux or not? Pls advice, thanks

Patrick

Reverse steps 1 and 2 and it will work. If you just re-inststall on top you shouldn’t need to reinstall boot camp unless you destroy the various partitions via re-formatting.
