Hi everybody and thanks for reading! I have a MacBook Pro 5,5 (13.3", Mid 2009, 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD) totally stock as I bought it from the iStore.
I upgraded a few months ago to Lion, mine came with Snow Leopard, and lately I've been feeling it a bit slow and seem to be running out of RAM. So I'm thinking about re-installing Lion from the Recovery Partition. I understand this can be done pretty easily and since I have an up-to-date Time Machine backup I can migrate all/only the files I need and "gain" some space on the hard drive using Migration Assistant.
My questions is:
If I do as I said, will all my settings, activation codes, licenses, and everything that my programs have like files/events/projects/progress selected will be copied and be available as if nothing happened? Or will it be like installing everything for the first time on a new Mac?
Cheers
