Quick question I have a tether jailbreak 4.2.1 with redsnow.

Can I just re-jailbreak with the new greenpoison without having to restore and what not ?

There have been a few who have done this and were successful. The recommended course of action is to restore first, but probably won't hurt if you just do it.
