Re-manufactured iphone

how do you know if they give you a new phone or re-manufactured phone? do they give you a box with re-manufactured ?

just curious because i want to return/exchange my phone its been having problems since day one and i have done all the tricks i find on here

Refurbished iPhones and iPhones manufactured to be given out as warranty swaps are given the same serial numbers, so their is no way to know what you get.

Does it matter though if the new phone you're given works better than the phone you have now?

I literally got it a week ago so it is just annoying that I go in there they claim it's fixed now and then people don't get my texts and I get the red exclamation mark that texts aren't sending and so on....

I heard that the production week can be found on a website and that can tell I was just curious if they bring a box out or not lol ... I

That's a really old post your linking too.. i see many wrongs in there, like warranty for unlocked iPhones isn't legit hehe. So i wouldn't take much from that site as something good to know as of today, maybe back then, but not now.
