Re-map Dashboard key (F4) on 13" MBP?

I'd like to re-assign the Dashboard key (F4) on my 13" MBP to Expose's "Show Desktop". So far I've been doing this with FunctionFlip, but its not remapping the key reliably anymore. It only works when the Finder is in the foreground; any other applications, pressing F4 brings up Dashboard instead of the desired Expose Show Desktop.

Anyone know of other methods to re-assign the Dashboard key? I'm running 10.6.2.

Well, tried Ukulele and it doesn't work. It never gets the F4 keypress to remap it, since the OS intercepts it first. I saw the author of Ukulele chimed in on a similar question with this this bit of info: "You cannot change the hardware control keys by changing the keyboard layout. It happens at a lower level, down somewhere in the keyboard driver."
