On my Dual G5 I am using a Logitech Wave keyboard and mouse, but I also have plugged in, via an iMate ADB to USB adapter, the keypad from one of those old modular keyboards that Apple made years ago and it actually works. I use Photoshop all the time and what I would like to do is be able to program the function keys on this key pad (WITHOUT re-programming the function keys on my Logitech keyboard as well) so that they will perform key press sequences from Photoshop.
For example - I'd like to press F10 on the old Apple keypad and have it emulate me clicking on Photoshop's Edit menu, then moving down the menu and to 'transform' and then selecting 'distort' from the sub menu. Is there any software that would let me do this?
The reason for this is that I have my main keyboard to my left, but being left handed I also hold my Wacom stylus in that hand and if I had quick access to some keyboard shortcuts with my right hand it would be brilliant.
I'll be replacing my G5 with a MacPro within the next 3 days, and also installing 10.5 ASAP - hopefully neither of those will make any difference to any software that might do the job for me.
