Hello all,

I recently by mistake updated my unlocked first generation Iphone (1.1.4) on Itunes. Now whenever I try to unlock it, it will come up with this error:

Searching for iPhone...
USBMuxListenerCreate: Unknown error: 0

I have tried both with and without a simcard.

I have looked through other threads about this, but absolutely NOTHING seems to work for me. (That or I'm just really a technical noob)

So if anyone can help, it would be VERY MUCH appriated!! :)

Download Redsn0w 0.9.4 along with the proper bootloaders and the 3.1.2 IPSW (even though you're on 3.1.3) and you can unlock the iPhone that way. There are many tutorials available on iclarified.com . :)

Thank, I will try that tutorial.

Does it matter that I, um forgot the word, but connected it to iTunes 10 and made it "reboot" it or whatever it is called? I read somewhere that you should do that with the 8.0.2 itunes version?

Ok, so I followed it. When using redsnow and browsing for firmware ipsw and opened it, it said "unable to recognize specified IPSW"...?
