How do I re-burn to a previously burnt dvd+rw. I backed up my files to a dvd by making a burn folder of my files. I now want to back up later files using the same method and disks, but the dvd will not burn again. I have tried a long erase and still it won't do it. What am I doing wrong and is there a better way of making incremental backups?

To re-burn a CD or DVD RW you need to erase it using Disk Utility. Just select the DVD drive from the left in Disk Utility and go to the Erase tab on the right. Once that's complete you should get a prompt asking what you want to do with the empty disc as you would if you inserted a blank disc.
