I'm not interested in burning blurays or watching them on my mac. I recently switched from PC to mac though and I'd like to be able to read the DL BD-Rom's I burned. I know Jobs has issues with blu ray, but is there a way to simply read it so I can get access to my data again?

With an external Bluray drive, you'll be able to read those data disks fine. It's only video playback that isn't supported. You can pick up drives from a variety of manufacturers, like this one from OWC. Of note, that particular drive doesn't support burning, so if you want to be able to burn, you'll want to grab one of the other drives they and others offer, but the read-only version saves you about $200. Depends on your needs.
