Hi. I'm new to the mac and just bought a new MacBook Pro. I'm quite tech savvy but one thing I can't get to work is syncing on mail properly.
I know that I have to have mail open on my macbook to recieve mail when in power nap. It does that fine, but if I've already read the email on my iPhone or iPad, it's still marked as not read on my mac. Is there a away to make it mark email as read everywhere?
I'm using 2 accounts, my iCloud.com and hotmail.com.
It works between iOS devices. Another similar problem is with messages. I recieve iMessages while at work on my iPhone, then when I check my MacBook later, the whole conversation comes through in notification center like it hasn't been read.
