Read Only Problems

Hi all,

hope you can help me, when using pages if I save a file it is automatically set as read only to other users, now this causes problems if I forget to change read&write to everyone in the get info panel. It is not just limited to pages I have tested it with text edit as well.

This is causing me problems when I send files to windoze users as they cant edit the orginal document and send it back, is there anyway to stop osx doing this and just save the files as open to everyone????
