Read Receipt For Text Messages

I was just wondering if there is a way to see when someone opens up a text you sent the? kind of like imessage but for text messages.

With AT&T is not possible even with the hacks from Cydia. Other carriers in the US I don't know l, but receipts do work in other countries

Nope, not on text message. Only work with IMessage if receipient has turn his/her "send read receipt" on.
