Hi everyone,

In Office 2008, in Word, the 'Readablilty Statistics' is greyed out on several of our machines. On a test machine (where the problem exists), I did several installs and uninstalls with different configs but the function is still unavailable. The problem seems random: on some machines (all identical), the function works and on many other, it doesn't.

During the uninstall process, I carefully ran the uninstallers and then went through all the remaining files I could find and deleted them. (in 'system...', in 'preferences...' Documents - Microsoft User Data folder, etc.).

Anyone ever came across this issue? I searched the Net extensively to no avail. I welcome any and all suggestions.

Note:
I have Excel 2004 and Office 2008 installed on all our Mac OS X version 10.5.6. in computers running with Intel processors. The reasons for installing Excel 2004 is this: Where I work, we extensively use a macro in Excel 2004 so students can learn statistics. As you know, VB is not supported in the Office 2008, where the need to have coexisting versions.

Thank for your helpl! :apple:
