Not a problem but what is that "reader" box do and what is it used for? I notice that sometimes it's colored blue and right now it is greyed out. What is the difference between the blue and the grey? I never clicked on the blue box. And I don't mean the uniforms between the north and the south during the Civil War....:D
thanks for a reply

The "Reader" button is lit when it is usable with the page that you are on.

When you click it the text you are viewing is isolated on it's own page, and the entire text can be continuously scrolled through.

Better idea...next time it lights up...click on it.:D

Hey Shrink, thanks for the explanation. I will give it a try the next time it turns blue. :D

You're welcome!:D

It's actually a pretty nice feature if you want to store, or send, an article or the like without all kinds of superfluous stuff on the page. Also makes it easier to read.

I like the reader feature a lot too, especially on the iPhone/iPad.

If you want to give it a try, I use the Safari extension Custom Reader to change the look of the Reader screen. For example, I use the extension to change the URL links in articles from that awful red to dark blue. You can also change fonts and the Reader background.
