You sure do love the phaser huh :p

Seems nice though, keep up the work, how long you been playing for?

I have to ask, how come you charge for your music?

Im seventeen years-old, I just released a new album (independently), a concept pro-rock album, Readers & Reporters.

It's available on iTunes, if anyone is interested http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/readers-reporters/id498139855
and on my website http://www.dylanseeger.com/buy-readers/

I'm not asking anyone to buy, just check it out if you're feeling up to it.

All the best

Dylan
I like it....I'm not criticising, but I'd like to hear it after another mix down or two.

Good luck with the band...Like the photo too!!

I charge because it's how I spend all of my time, for long, extended periods of time. Everything is completely independent, so it takes a lot of my own time. However, money is the least import aspect.

I've been playing piano for two years (self taught), voice for who knows how long, sax for six years.

I am about to pick up the piano. You sound like you are pretty good at it.

Thank you, what models are you looking into?

Thanks for your comment, I'd be interested in hearing what suggestions you have regarding the mix.

Glad you like the photo and the music!

I don't know. Any suggestions?

I recorded the album with a Yamaha Digital Piano P-85 (http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-P-85-C...8BJ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328937960&sr=8-1)

It might be a couple models back, but I'm not sure. It's a bit pricey but the keys are beautifully weighted and it works great with Logic Pro, so I have no complaints. If you were interested in real pianos I'd say probably a Yamaha, I don't have too much experience with grands but from what I've played Yamaha's just get a nice bright/full sound.

I am not looking to spend $500 on my first keyboard. Later on when I feel comfortable with the instrument, sure. I just want something that I can learn on first.

Ahhhh ok, was gonna say, I never understand people who charge money for their hobbies, regardless, it's nice, definitely very concept, super Pink Floyd too, many songs subtly referencing their work (regardless of being intentional or not).

Some subtle references were intentional but mostly it's just general inspiration from Pink Floyd, I studied their music in depth while making this album.
