Reading iPhone Backup Files

So my iPhone is currently under repair, but I need to access the files it contained (photos).

I've found my backups in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/, but now I need something to decipher this obfuscated content.

Is there a trustworthy explorer/nav app I can use that anyone can recommend?
