Reading List is very laggy

Everything on my new 13" MBA running OS X 10.8.4 is super fast. However one thing I noticed in Safari was Reading List is incredibly laggy when I open or close it.

Tapping the Reading List icon lags while tapping the Bookmark and Top Sites icon are fine.
