Reading List on Safari has gone crazy

Each time i click a link from my reading list it disappears.... hopefully it stays on safari (mac)..... hard reset, icloud sign out/in did not fix the issue. Any other suggestions?

There's a show unread/show all button on the bottom right of the reading list menu.

It might just have hidden your read ones.
