Any SACD put in the Superdrive of my powerbook reads as a blank DVD. Anyone know a workaround? (all my SACD's are dual layer, so appear as a CD in other CD players). I could rip them with a PC and an old CD ROM drive but wanted a more elegant solution.

I've had that problem on my iBook and ended up burning a copy from my PC solely for importation into iTunes. I've alerted Apple to the problem, but I'm not sure if they intend to do anything. When I initially called Apple up the first week after I got my iBook, the rep didn't even know what a SACD was.

The best thing is to pester Apple about it and hope for a software fix of some kind that will allow the Combodrive or Superdrive to merely look only @ the CD layer.
